Namdeo is a farmer whose fate depends solely on the rain. It has become extremely tough for him to tend to his cows due to the persistent famine. The cow Rani is no longer producing milk, and Namdeo can not afford its fodder anymore because his family needs the money to make both ends meet. With a heavy heart, Namdeo tries to sell Rani, but no one will buy it because it doesn’t produce milk anymore. Namdeo is troubled with the problem of getting rid of the cow.
Namdeo comes across several people who talk lovingly and respectfully about the cow, but none is ready to take responsibility. Namdeo is disheartened and finds himself helpless. His destiny has brought him to a city from a village. In the big city of Mumbai, Namdeo finds a unique solution that solves Rani’s problems.
